Webinar – Strengthening California’s Charter School Sector: Updating California’s Charter School Authorizing Functions and Funding

CCAP will hold a free webinar on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. to review and discuss the findings and recommendation of its new report, Strengthening California’s Charter School Sector: Updating California’s Charter School Authorizing Functions and Funding, released in December.
Conducted in collaboration with the National Network for District Authorizing (NN4DA) and drawing on the insights of those engaged in the day-to-day work of authorizing, the study identifies effective authorizing practices, assesses the adequacy of fiscal and professional resources to support these practices, evaluates other operational impacts of California’s current oversight funding structure, and provides five overarching policy recommendations.
