About the event

From coast to desert, CCAP conferences bring together over 120 participants each year, representing diverse backgrounds and expertise in charter authorizing. Join authorizing staff and board members from large, small, urban, and rural school districts, and county offices of education, throughout the state, as well as attorneys, charter school leaders, consultants, and other officials at this year's Charter School Authorizers Conference.

CCAP also gratefully welcomes conference sponsorships and/or exhibitors, which help make our event possible. There are options to sponsor a variety of conference events at varying rates, and the size of the conference affords exhibitors prominent locations. For more information, please contact CCAP at  info@calauthorizers.org.

Irvine Marriot is located less than a mile from John Wayne Airport and offers a complimentary airport shuttle service. The basic room rate at the conference discount is $219 and will be available until Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

About the Preconference

The Preconference on Charter Authorizing & Oversight 101 is presented by the state Charter Authorizer Support Initiative (CASI), which is jointly implemented by the California Department of Education, the Santa Clara County Office of Education, and CCAP.

The Preconference will be held on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 18, and the morning of Wednesday, June 19, 2024. Registration is separate from the conference fee, and attendees may choose to attend only the Preconference, only the conference, or both.

Reimbursement for one night's lodging at Irvine Marriott for Tuesday, June 18, 2024, is available to Preconference registrants from qualified small California authorizers. Qualified authorizers are those with five or fewer authorized charter schools and/or no more than two full-time, dedicated authorizing staff members.
