Be a part of something new and broad-based in California authorizing. Join CCAP and the Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE) by creating and joining regional networks of authorizers, especially in rural and small districts.
In our last e-Alert, we announced that CCAP and SCCOE received state grants to strengthen authorizing. Through a joint effort, known as the Charter Authorizer Support Initiative (CASI), we are developing regional hubs through COEs to localize workshops and resources and to facilitate communication among districts in the same region.
The currently participating host COEs are Contra Costra, El Dorado, Los Angeles, Mono, Riverside, Shasta, and Sutter.
If you are interested or want more information, contact CASI@cde.ca.gov. Better yet, join us for the informational kick-off meeting. You should have received an invitation with a link to register directly from CDE, but you can also register here.
