California English Learner Roadmap
The state’s English Learner (EL) Roadmap contains pathways to EL students’ success using recent research findings that describe different approaches, tools and examples for teaching EL students. A history section considers a half century of policies, court rulings and public debates that provide context for how California arrived at the current policies, programs and practices for English learners students.
