Legal Guidelines for Educating English Learners in Charter Schools
This resource provides an overview of federal and state regulations and case law governing equal educational access for English learners in charter schools. Also included are currently available data sets about enrollment trends in charter schools and access to educational programs and services. However, the report also identifies significant gaps in the data on ELs in charter schools and poses questions for policymakers to consider in order to provide robust data that improves services English learners.
