CDE has invited CCAP to provide input from the field in an upcoming meeting to develop state regulations for the implementation of Assembly Bill 1505. Our friends at WestEd are helping to gather the input for CDE and will report to the State Board of Education the first week in November. The proposed regulations are to be brought before the State Board in mid-January. For a refresher on AB 1505, see:
CCAP would like to convene authorizers this coming week, primarily to discuss your priorities for areas where additional regulatory guidance would be helpful, but also for any initial thoughts you may have on specifics of suggested provisions.
